91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Enrollment Reaches 5,568 Students β€” Highest in More Than a Decade
Gadsden, Ala. - 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ is celebrating a major milestone this fall with total enrollment reaching 5,568 students — the College’s highest headcount since 2013. The achievement reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to student success, innovative programs, and strategic recruitment and retention efforts.
“This growth is a direct result of the collective effort of our faculty, staff, and leadership across all campuses,” said Alan Smith, president of 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ. “It shows that when we work together to provide opportunity, support, and access, our communities respond. We’re proud to see more students choosing 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ to begin or continue their educational journey. I believe this growth also reflects the fact that 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ is affordable and provides relevant education and workforce training that prepare people to be successful and secure great-paying careers. I am extremely appreciative of the hard work and collective effort of our employees and our community partners who continue to believe in and support our mission.”
Over the past year, 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ has implemented several key initiatives that have strengthened enrollment, including expanded workforce training programs, increased outreach to high school students through dual enrollment, and enhanced support for adult learners. The College has also invested in marketing and communications strategies to reach new audiences and better share the opportunities available through its five campuses across East Alabama.
Andy Green, dean of Student Services, said the numbers are a reflection of both new and returning students who recognize the value of a 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ education.
“Our enrollment team, advisors, and faculty members have worked tirelessly to make the process seamless — from application to orientation to classroom success,” Green said. “Every department has played a part in helping students see that 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ is not only affordable and accessible, but also a pathway to great futures.”
The College’s record growth comes as 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ continues its yearlong Centennial Celebration — marking 100 years of transforming lives through education and service.
